With over 250,000 subscribers loving their dance covers and fun content, the sisters were shocked to discover an AI-generated video falsely using their names making the rounds on social media.
They wasted no time taking action. The twins visited Sri Lanka’s Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and filed a formal complaint. Speaking to the media, they revealed this isn’t the first time their identity has been misused online. They’re determined to stop the spread, vowing to pursue legal action against those responsible for creating and sharing the video.
Support from fans is pouring in as the twins ask everyone to ignore the fake video and avoid spreading it. They said, “We’re facing harassment and jokes because of this. Please don’t believe or share such content.”
The YouTubers are pushing back against digital misuse while urging stricter accountability for AI-generated content.
