Sri Lankan musician and Singer Sunil Perera Passed away this morning (6 September 2021 due to Pneumonia. His full name is Ivor Sylvester Sunil Perera was born on 14 September 1952. He was a Sri Lankan vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and composer. He is the leader and the lead vocalist of the popular Sri Lankan band, Gypsies. Sunil remains one of the most famous singers in the country, while his band Gypsies remain one of Sri Lanka’s biggest musical franchises for the past three decades, with regular foreign tours, several hit albums, and sold-out concerts.
Singer Sunil Perera was the oldest student of St. Sebastian’s College and St. Peter’s College. His Spouse’s name is Geetha Kulatunga married in 1981. He has 4 children names are Sajith, Gayan, Rehana, Manisha. He was the son of Anton Perera (father) And Dorine Perera (mother).
