Shenelle Rodrigo (Born ) is a Sri Lankan Digital creator, YouTuber, travel blogger and model. Shenelle started her career as a model when she was 15 years old. Right away in her career, she broke stereotypes by using her dark skin to her advantage. She later won the reality show “Making of a Model” on Prime Time TV when she was 17 years old, and she went on to represent Sri Lanka in the “Supermodels of Asia Pacific” pageant that was held in Thailand in 2011.
She went on to become the first model from Sri Lanka to appear on the cover of Vogue India in 2016, where she was featured under the title “Beauty in Diversity,” which further promoted the representation of women with a variety of skin tones. Soon after that, Shenelle established a content creation brand with the assistance of her spouse, Shehaan, with the intention of producing cinematic videos focusing on topics relating to culture, leisure, and travel. The work done in this area aided not only major lifestyle and hospitality brands, but it also contributed to the overall improvement of tourism across the country.
Her online communities are quickly becoming quite popular among people who live in other countries and are thinking about traveling to Sri Lanka. Using high-quality materials created by a forward-thinking marketing and strategy team, the brand continues to grow and thrive through a variety of high-value relationships both locally and globally. This allows the brand to continue its expansion.
