Nethmi Risheka Roshel Rogers (Born 6 November 1998), commonly known as Nethmi Roshel, is a Sri Lankan Actress and Model. She was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She won Jathika Rupawahini Aurudu Kumariya & Miss Photogenic-2019. she completed her school-level education at Bomiriya Central College and, following her graduation at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The teledrama Sakkaran, which was broadcast on Sirasa TV, marked her debut as Jayawathi. [1 Her rapid increase in popularity landed her the role of Aksha in the television serial opera Deweni Inima. Likewise, she has appeared in the teledramas Hiru Awidin and Rawana (season 2).
In 2022, she made her big screen debut in Adaraneeya Prarthana, a Sri Lankan romantic film released in Sri Lanka, the United States, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan. Critics praised the film’s acting, score, and cinematography, and it was hailed for its “refreshing take” on youthful, modern romance. In addition, she made her debut in the realm of short films in December 2021, starring in Cherry Blossom, a film directed by Jo Dissanayake. Also, in April of 2022, she played the vivacious and haughty Kata-malee in the Avurudu telefilm Wasanthe, which was broadcast on TV Derana.
