Nakshathra Nagesh, an Indian actress, model, and television anchor, is known for her work in the Tamil television industry. She was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Nakshathra gained popularity after her appearance in Kushboo’s serial, “Lakshmi Stores.”
Nakshathra Nagesh was educated at Chettinad Vidyashram in Chennai and pursued hotel management at IHM. She started her career as a video jockey on Thanthi TV, hosting the show “Vaanavil.” She later became a host for television programs like “Sun Singer” on Sun TV and hosted various award ceremonies. Nakshathra also ventured into acting, appearing in short films like “En Iniye Pon Nilave” and making small appearances in feature films such as “Settai” (2013) and “Vaayai Moodi Pesavum” (2014). She gained recognition for her role in Balaji Mohan’s web series, “As I’m Suffering From Kadhal,” one of the first Tamil web series.
In her breakthrough role, Nakshathra played the character Bhagyalakshmi in Khushbu’s television series, “Lakshmi Stores.” Her portrayal received critical acclaim, showcasing her talent as an actress. She was also recognized as the fourth most desirable woman on television by the Chennai Times in 2018.
On a personal note, Nakshathra got engaged to Raghav in early 2021 and tied the knot on 9 December 2021.
