Jayda Bhinder is a Canadian dancer and one-half of the dance duo DJC. She was born on June 17, 2003, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Bhinder has been dancing since a young age and became interested in street dance in her teens. Along with her dance partner, Deeya Sharma, Bhinder formed DJC, a female-only dance duo, to showcase their talent and inspire other young girls.
Bhinder and Sharma noticed that the street dance scene in Vancouver was mostly male-dominated and wanted to create a space for female dancers to shine. They joined forces to form DJC, combining their unique styles to create a dynamic and energetic act. The duo has performed at various events and venues across Canada, including the popular TV show Canada’s Got Talent, which aired in 2023 on City TV.
Jayda Bhinder’s passion for dance and advocacy for women’s empowerment makes her a role model for young girls everywhere. Her dedication to her craft and her commitment to inspiring others make her a valuable asset to the Canadian dance community.
