Dr. Jim Fick was born and raised in Minnesota. He is a licensed optometric physician and is therapeutically certified. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he earned his Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2002. During his clinical education, he completed his externship at the Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he gained valuable experience in diagnosing and management of various ocular diseases, including cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. Dr. Fick’s clinical interest is in the area of managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, and the application of specialty contact lenses in the treatment of various corneal and ocular surface diseases. Dr Craig Liebig was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and lived in Ohio before coming to West Virginia at an early age. He grew up in Keyser, WV, and is a Keyser High School graduate. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Gail (Blamer) Liebig, and they have two grown children, a son Jesse and a daughter Traci who is married to BJ Knabenshue. Traci and BJ have a son, Lukas, and a daughter, Norah. Dr Liebig attended Potomac State College and West Virginia University before entering Optometry School and graduating from The Ohio State University. He has been practising Optometry in the Clarksburg area for 38 years. His practice was in the Meadowbrook Mall for over 20 years before joining Dr Fick in 2008.
