Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC (CBC), mostly known as ComBank, is a private-owned one of the top commercial banks in Sri Lanka with a Digital and Online Banking facilities. It was formed as a public limited company and is traded on the Colombo Stock Exchange Market. The bank is recognized as Sri Lanka’s largest private bank in terms of net worth and capital. In terms of total net assets, Combank is currently the third largest Banking firm in Sri Lanka, trailing only the Bank of Ceylon and People’s Bank (both are state-owned commercial banks). According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Combank is also the only privately licensed bank in Sri Lanka designated as a higher-tier domestic systemically important bank. The bank is currently in operation.
