Duneesha Piumi Prarthana (Born 25 September 1995, Sinhala: දුනීෂා පියුමි ප්රාර්ථනා) is a Sri Lankan actress and model who stars primarily in Sinhala teledrama and music videos. She was born in Hanwella, a town in Sri Lanka, situated about 30 km from Colombo, the country’s commercial capital. She is currently living in Hanwella, Sri Lanka. She completed her school-level education at Hanwella Rajasinghe Central College. She Studied Human Resource Management at LPEC – Lanka Professional Education Center and Information Technology at ESOFT Metro College – Avissawella.
She started her career as a model and won several Beauty pageant awards. She also starred in several Sinhala music videos and Sinhala Teledramas, such as Ahas Maliga, which was telecasted on Hiru TV, and Nadagamkarayo, which was telecasted on Swarnavahini TV. She won ITN Aurudu Kumariya 2nd runnerup in 2018 and Miss Regency Queen 2019. She also became top 12 in ITN Aurudu Kumariya in 2017 and top 15 in ITN Aurudu Kumariya in 2016.
