Her debut song “Ladio” from the film “I” (2015), composed by A.R. Rahman, marked her entry into the mainstream music industry.

Since then, Nikhita has delivered numerous hits including the title track “Raabta” from “Raabta,” “Ullu Ka Pattha” with Arijit Singh from “Jagga Jasoos,” and the viral sensation “Jugnu” with Badshah. Her contributions to the soundtracks of films such as “Kedarnath,” “Luka Chuppi,” “Sooryavanshi,” and “Tiger 3,” among others, have cemented her status as a prominent voice in Indian cinema.

Nikhita’s exceptional talent has earned her accolades including the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 2018 for “Raabta.” She was also nominated for the Best Playback Singer (Female) category at the 63rd Filmfare Awards for “Ghar” from “Jab Harry Met Sejal,” and at the 3rd Filmfare Awards East for her Bengali song “Tomra Ekhono Ki” from “Meghnad Badh Rahasya.” Her song “Qaafirana” from “Kedarnath” further solidified her standing as a hitmaker in the industry.
